The Peru State baseball team, 11-21 overall and 5-11 in Heart of America Conference play, will host Saturday and Sunday games at the Centennial Complex Fields against Graceland University.
Game times are scheduled to begin at 1 and 4 p.m. on both days.
Peru is coming off a 1-3 showing in a four-game home set against Mount Mercy University.
Rivera Gustavo, the Bobcats’ senior catcher, enters this weekend as one of the top hitters on the team. He has a team-high 31 RBI on 32 hits with a .320 batting average. Antonio Benitez, a junior utility man, has the top hit total of 37 and is hitting .333.
Top pitchers for the Bobcats are Blake Denson, a senior with three wins and 39 innings pitched, and Kevin Diaz, a junior with two wins and 47.2 innings pitched.
