PICTURES: Tipperary gardaí welcomed to An Garda Síochána during graduation ceremony

Tipperary has welcomed new gardaí as 149 new members of An Garda Síochána joined their ranks and will take up their new roles in Garda Stations nationwide.

Sean Ryan and Family and granny from West Tipperary at the graduation in Templemore on Friday, March 7.

The ceremony took place in the Garda College in Templemore on Friday, March 7 where "19 of the graduates were attested at the Garda College this morning were both outside of Ireland and hail from countries including France, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Pakistan, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia and the United Kingdom.

"A reflection of the richly diverse, multi-cultural and modern organisation that An Garda Síochána continues to evolve into," a spokesperson for An An Garda Síochána said in a Facebook post.
